Alltel has started offering Research In Motion’s (RIM) BlackBerry Curve 8330 (Blackberry Curve Series) smartphone in the US.

The BlackBerry Curve 8330 smartphone is the smallest device in RIM’s portfolio. It features a full QWERTY keyboard, a 2MP camera and GPS capabilities. Hi-speed USB connection, Bluetooth, microSD/SDHC memory slot are some of the other features of the BlackBerry 8830. The phone is also equipped with a 3.5 mm stereo headset jack.

Users of the BlackBerry 8830 can enjoy internet activities such as shop online with Digby, download content from RealTone Juke Box and Bplay, stay connected with friends by downloading the Facebook for BlackBerry Smartphones application and many more.

Also the BlackBerry Curve 8330 can be used for Alltel’s Axcess Voice2TXT service. This service converts incoming voicemails to text messages in the subscriber’s inbox. It also allows subscribers to store, reply and forward converted voicemails as regular text messages.
